What’s On My Travel Bucket List for 2025

We went some pretty amazing g places last year! Our amazing adventure in Morocco had been on my bucket list for years! And our rainforest adventure in Ecuador was even cooler than I thought it would be.

So we are back to the age old question of all victims of wanderlust...What's Next?! Where do we want to explore on this journey around the sun, because life is short etcetera and so forth.

Okay, so one destination that has topped our list for 2025 is (drum roll please) Brazil!!!

It didn't take much to convince us, really. We went out to dinner with one of Chris' girlfriends from college who is living in São Paulo right now. She showed us a blurry picture of an animal on her phone that she wanted us to identify. Both of us exclaimed (really loudly) in the quiet restaurant "Marmoset!!" How to you convince a couple of biologists with, let's face it, a bit of a primate fetish to go somewhere. Apparently, all it takes is one blurry marmoset picture.

But a little more research and Brazil has so much to offer the nature traveler. (I almost packed my bags that very week.) But I am reigning it in folks. Because a little planning and preparation will make for a much better journey. Plus, it gives us a little time to learn a few useful phrases in Portuguese. But I've already bookmarked some awesome vegan restaurants I want to try while we are there.
